Is the nursery licensed?
Nurseries are regulated. Owners must show their licence from the relevant authority and the carer qualifications.
What is the carer-to-child ratio?
State it exactly, by room, and keep to it. Parents ask this first.
How is food handled?
Describe meals, allergy records and whether food is prepared on site. Never promise allergy-free.
Do you have cameras?
If you have cameras, say who can see them and how long footage is kept. Be clear about privacy.
What if my child is unwell?
We follow a written illness policy. Children with fever or contagious illness stay at home and we tell parents about outbreaks.
