Is the test done by a qualified optometrist?
Owners must state who performs eye tests and their licence. Do not offer tests without a qualified, licensed optometrist.
Do you accept prescriptions from other clinics?
State clearly whether you accept them and how recent they must be. Many shops accept prescriptions up to a year old.
How long do glasses take?
Two to five days, or same day on selected lenses. Complex lenses can take longer.
Can I use insurance?
If you work with insurers, list them. If not, say that payment is direct.
