Invoice
An invoice is a document that asks a customer to pay, and lists what they bought and how much.
In a simple example
After a cake order for a party, you send an invoice: 20 cupcakes, 10 dinars, to be paid by Friday.
Why it matters to you
A clear invoice avoids arguments and gives your accountant a record.
Do not confuse with
An invoice asks for money. A receipt shows that the money was received.
