Lazy loading
Lazy loading means a picture or part of a page loads only when the visitor scrolls near it.
In a simple example
A long page with thirty photos opens fast, because only the first three load at the start.
Why it matters to you
Pages open faster and use less mobile data, which visitors on slow connections notice.
Do not confuse with
Lazy here is a good thing. The page is smart, not broken.
