Favicon
A favicon is the tiny picture shown on the browser tab next to your page name.
In a simple example
When a visitor opens ten tabs, your small logo on the tab helps them find your site again.
Why it matters to you
It makes your site look real and easy to spot among other tabs and bookmarks.
Do not confuse with
A favicon is not your full logo. It is a very small, simple version of it.
