Icon
An icon is a small simple picture that stands for an action or an idea, like a basket or a magnifying glass.
In a simple example
A small basket picture on your shop page tells people where to see what they chose.
Why it matters to you
Icons let people understand a screen quickly, without reading, and they work in any language.
Do not confuse with
An icon is not a logo. A logo stands for your business. An icon stands for an action.
