Fix · Pages, phones and Arabic
100vh is too tall on phones (content hidden under the browser bar)
What you may see
- The bottom of my full-screen section is cut off on iPhone
- A scroll bar appears for no reason
Most likely cause
On phones the browser bars slide in and out, and 100vh counts the biggest height, so content can sit under them.
Check first (about two minutes)
- Find every height: 100vh in the CSS.
The fix prompt
What you type here never leaves your browser. The search runs on this page, and nothing is sent to a server or to an AI.
Kept only in this browser, on this device. Keys and passwords are removed before anything is saved.
Prompt language
Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor, then follow what it says.
After you tried it, did it work?
Steps
- Replace 100vh with min-height: 100svh (or 100dvh), keeping 100vh as a fallback line before it.
- Use min-height instead of height so long content can grow.
- Test on a real iPhone or WebKit at 390 by 844.
Do not do this
- Do not make the hero a fixed pixel height.
- Do not use JavaScript to set heights if CSS can do it.
