Fix · Pages, phones and Arabic
Some things are mirrored wrongly in Arabic (icons, arrows, sliders)
Kuwait and Gulf
What you may see
- Arrows point the wrong way, or a logo or a video control is flipped
- A slider or progress bar fills from the wrong side
Most likely cause
Direction-based items (back, next, chevrons) should flip in right-to-left, but pictures, logos, clocks, numbers and media controls should not.
Check first (about two minutes)
- List which items are wrong: back/next arrows, a logo, a slider?
The fix prompt
What you type here never leaves your browser. The search runs on this page, and nothing is sent to a server or to an AI.
Kept only in this browser, on this device. Keys and passwords are removed before anything is saved.
Prompt language
Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor, then follow what it says.
After you tried it, did it work?
Steps
- For back/next icons, flip them only when the page is right-to-left (a rtl-only transform or logical icon variants).
- Do not flip logos, photos, maps, clocks, play buttons or phone numbers.
- Check sliders and carousels: the first slide is on the right, swipe and arrow directions match reading direction.
Do not do this
- Do not mirror a logo: it changes the brand.
- Do not flip the whole page with a transform.
