Fix · Pages, phones and Arabic
Refreshing an inner page gives 404 (single-page app)
Not checked against the vendor's current screens
What you may see
- Clicking links works, but a refresh or a direct link shows 404
Most likely cause
A single-page app has only one real file (index.html); the host must send every address to it.
Check first (about two minutes)
- Type an inner address directly: 404 or the app?
The fix prompt
What you type here never leaves your browser. The search runs on this page, and nothing is sent to a server or to an AI.
Kept only in this browser, on this device. Keys and passwords are removed before anything is saved.
Prompt language
Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor, then follow what it says.
After you tried it, did it work?
Steps
- Tell me which host serves the site and the rule it needs to send all paths to index.html (a rewrite, a redirect rule, or a fallback file).
- Add the rule in the way the host documents, and make real missing files (images, scripts) still return 404.
Do not do this
- Do not redirect all files, including scripts, to the page.
- Do not switch to hash links as the first answer.
