Fix · Forms and email
Spam protection blocks real people
What you may see
- Customers say the form says error or "spam"
- Browser auto-fill triggers the block
Most likely cause
A hidden trap field gets filled by browser auto-fill, or a time/speed rule is too strict.
Check first (about two minutes)
- Does the hidden field have a normal name such as "website" or "address"?
The fix prompt
What you type here never leaves your browser. The search runs on this page, and nothing is sent to a server or to an AI.
Kept only in this browser, on this device. Keys and passwords are removed before anything is saved.
Prompt language
Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor, then follow what it says.
After you tried it, did it work?
Steps
- Rename the trap field to something no browser fills, set autocomplete="off", and keep it truly hidden and not focusable.
- Make the time rule gentle (for example more than 2 seconds), and give a real person a clear message and another way to reach me when blocked.
- Log blocked attempts (without personal details) to tune the rules.
Do not do this
- Do not block by country as the only rule.
- Do not remove spam protection.
