Next step · What to do next
Make sure I own my domain and accounts (and never lose them)
What you may see
- My developer or designer set up my accounts
Why this step
Your business depends on a few accounts (domain, host, repository, database, email, payments); each must be in the business's name with the owner able to sign in.
Before you start
- Who is the registered owner and contact email of the domain right now?
The prompt for this step
What you type here never leaves your browser. The search runs on this page, and nothing is sent to a server or to an AI.
Kept only in this browser, on this device. Keys and passwords are removed before anything is saved.
Prompt language
Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor, then follow what it says.
After you tried it, did it work?
Steps
- Make a table: for each service, who the account owner is, the sign-in email, two-step setup, billing owner, and renewal date.
- For each account not in my name, give the official steps to transfer ownership or add me as owner (named by what they are called; the screens may differ).
- Set auto-renew with a current card, a second notification email, and calendar reminders 60 and 14 days before each renewal.
Do not do this
- Do not keep passwords in a shared chat.
- Do not remove the developer's access until the transfer is confirmed.
