Next step · What to do next

Move from testing to the real live site (production checklist)

What you may see

  • I am about to launch and want nothing to go wrong

Why this step

Most launch problems are the same twenty small things; a checklist run once, calmly, finds them before customers do.

Before you start

  1. Is everything saved in Git and does the live host deploy from the right branch?
  2. Who is the owner of each account (domain, host, database, payments, email)?

The prompt for this step

What you type here never leaves your browser. The search runs on this page, and nothing is sent to a server or to an AI.

Kept only in this browser, on this device. Keys and passwords are removed before anything is saved.

Prompt language

Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor, then follow what it says.

After you tried it, did it work?

Steps

  1. Build a launch checklist for this project and mark each item done, not done or unknown after reading my code: keys and modes (live, not test), environment variables, domain and https, redirects, email sending and DNS records, database rules and backups, error pages, forms, payments, Arabic and phone tests.
  2. Add the items about content: no fake text, real contact details, privacy and terms pages, real images, sitemap and search settings (indexing allowed on live only).
  3. Add the items about people: who gets alerts, who fixes what, how to roll back, and where the backups are.
  4. Run what can be run (build, tests, link check) and report. List what only I can do outside the code.

Do not do this

  • Do not skip the rollback plan.
  • Do not launch on a Friday night or before a holiday without a plan.
