Fix · Security mistakes
A person who worked on my site or business left: remove their access
Blocks your workSecurity
What you may see
- A developer, designer or employee knows my passwords
- I do not know all the places they can still sign in
Most likely cause
Access is spread over many accounts (domain, host, repository, database, email, payments, social media); anything shared or forgotten stays open.
Check first (about two minutes)
- Write down every service and tool the person used.
The fix prompt
What you type here never leaves your browser. The search runs on this page, and nothing is sent to a server or to an AI.
Kept only in this browser, on this device. Keys and passwords are removed before anything is saved.
Prompt language
Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor, then follow what it says.
After you tried it, did it work?
Steps
- Make an access checklist for my business types (domain, hosting, code repository, database, email, payments, analytics, social media, shared password manager).
- For each: remove the person's own login first, then change any shared password or key they knew, and check for tokens or keys they created.
- Make sure I (the owner) hold the owner role of the domain, hosting and repository in the business's name.
Do not do this
- Do not leave the domain in the developer's name.
- Do not delete their work before copying it.
