English and Arabic pages compete or the wrong language shows in search
Kuwait and Gulf
What you may see
- People in Kuwait see the English page when they search in Arabic
Most likely cause
Search engines need to be told which page is the same content in another language; without that they guess.
Check first (about two minutes)
- Do both language versions have their own addresses (not a toggle on one address)?
The fix prompt
What you type here never leaves your browser. The search runs on this page, and nothing is sent to a server or to an AI.
Kept only in this browser, on this device. Keys and passwords are removed before anything is saved.
Prompt language
Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor, then follow what it says.
After you tried it, did it work?
Steps
- Check each language has its own address, the html lang attribute is right, and pages link to their twin.
- Add alternate language links for each pair (and a default), full https addresses, both directions.
- Put both languages in the sitemap with their alternates.
Do not do this
- Do not machine-translate the page and leave it unreviewed.
- Do not auto-redirect visitors by country only.
