Tool call
A tool call is when an AI asks another program to do something, like search the web or read a file.
In a simple example
The agent decides it needs today's price, so it calls a search tool and reads the answer before replying.
Why it matters to you
Tool calls are how an AI reaches the real world, so each tool you allow is a power you give it.
Do not confuse with
A tool call is not the AI doing it by magic. A normal program does the action, and the AI only asks.
