Fix · Forms and email
The email from my website never arrives
Blocks your work
What you may see
- The form says sent but there is nothing in my inbox
- It arrives for some addresses only
Most likely cause
The message is lost at one step: not sent by the server, refused by the email service, blocked by the receiver, or placed in spam.
Check first (about two minutes)
- Open the email service dashboard logs: is the message listed, and with what status (delivered, bounced, blocked)?
- Search spam, promotions and "all mail".
The fix prompt
What you type here never leaves your browser. The search runs on this page, and nothing is sent to a server or to an AI.
Kept only in this browser, on this device. Keys and passwords are removed before anything is saved.
Prompt language
Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor, then follow what it says.
After you tried it, did it work?
Steps
- Find where the email is sent from in the code and which service it uses (names only).
- Check the code handles errors from the service and writes a clear log line.
- Check the sender address belongs to a domain that is verified in the service, and the recipient is correct.
- Send a test to two different providers (for example one Gmail and one other) and compare.
Do not do this
- Do not put the email service key in website code that visitors download.
- Do not change the sending service to solve one message.
