Fix · Speed
My website is slow
Blocks your work
What you may see
- The page takes many seconds to show on a phone
- It feels fast on my computer and slow for customers
Most likely cause
Most slowness comes from a few big things: huge images, too much script, slow server answers, or fonts and videos loading early.
Check first (about two minutes)
- Test the live page with a speed tool on a phone profile and write the top three findings.
- Open the Network tab and sort by size: what are the five biggest files?
The fix prompt
What you type here never leaves your browser. The search runs on this page, and nothing is sent to a server or to an AI.
Kept only in this browser, on this device. Keys and passwords are removed before anything is saved.
Prompt language
Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor, then follow what it says.
After you tried it, did it work?
Steps
- Measure first: record the load time, total page weight and the five biggest files on a throttled phone connection.
- Fix the biggest cause first (usually images: right size, modern format, lazy loading below the fold, width and height set).
- Then reduce scripts (remove unused packages and third-party scripts), keep fonts light, and make the server answer fast (cache).
- Measure again and report before and after for each change. Make one change at a time.
Do not do this
- Do not chase a perfect score; fix what customers feel.
- Do not change the design or remove content to score higher.
