Fix · Forms and email
Email says "sent on behalf of" or fails sender checks
What you may see
- The email service says my domain is not verified
Most likely cause
The email service has not seen the records that prove you own the sending domain.
Check first (about two minutes)
- Compare the records the service lists with the DNS records at your domain company.
The fix prompt
What you type here never leaves your browser. The search runs on this page, and nothing is sent to a server or to an AI.
Kept only in this browser, on this device. Keys and passwords are removed before anything is saved.
Prompt language
Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor, then follow what it says.
After you tried it, did it work?
Steps
- List the records the email service asks for (type, name, value) and the ones that exist now.
- Tell me exactly which to add, avoiding a second SPF record (only one SPF record is allowed; merge).
- Wait for DNS to update, then ask the service to re-check.
Do not do this
- Do not publish two SPF records.
- Do not delete records you do not recognise.
