Next step · What to do next

Add an email sign-up list (newsletter) the right way

What you may see

  • I want to collect emails and send offers

Why this step

A list is only worth having if people chose to join, can leave easily, and your emails reach their inbox.

Before you start

  1. What will you send, how often, and who writes it?

The prompt for this step

What you type here never leaves your browser. The search runs on this page, and nothing is sent to a server or to an AI.

Kept only in this browser, on this device. Keys and passwords are removed before anything is saved.

Prompt language

Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor, then follow what it says.

After you tried it, did it work?

Steps

  1. Add a short sign-up form with a clear promise, an explicit consent line, and a double confirmation email (confirm by link).
  2. Store the email, date, language and consent text; keep it separate from customer orders; protect the table with access rules.
  3. Use an email service for sending (not your own mailbox), set SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and put a visible unsubscribe link in every email that works with one click.
  4. Start small, send a test to yourself and to two outside providers, and check spam placement.

Do not do this

  • Do not buy email lists.
  • Do not add people who did not sign up.
